Hello and welcome to the New Product Launch for the My Favorite Things March Release! All of the new products we've been sharing all week are officially available now at mftstamps.com, and I can't wait to see what's on everyone's must-have lists!
For my card tonight I used the new Best in the West stamp set to create a cute little scene with the cowbear and cowfox. ;) The coordinating die set for these stamps has a stand-alone lasso die so I thought it would be cute to have a heart in it to go with the sentiment.
I coloured the images with Copic markers and added some glossy accents to the boots and the hats to add some dimension and shine. I created a one layer background by die-cutting and piecing the parts together after I had added colour to each of them. I also added clouds and sunshine rays with my stencils before adhering everything together.

ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic card on so many levels, but I think my favorite part is the stitch work that you added to the boots and neckerchief. It's such a small thing, but it makes a huge difference in how immersive the scene becomes. Thanks so much for sharing (this and so many other cards on the youtube channel)!
