My Favorite Things January Release Countdown | Day 5

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on January 8th at 10am EST.

For my first card today I used the new Heart Tree Die-namics to create a rainbow design with the die cut inlay technique.

I first die cut the tree from white card stock, and then I adhered it over some exposed adhesive on a backing sheet so I could easily add all of the little pieces back in. I then die cut the tree from a bunch of different card stock colours and pieced it all back together.

It did take a bit of time to do since there are so many pieces, but I love the look of it with all of the fun rainbow colours. I stamped a sentiment from the Sweet Celebrations stamp set onto a black sentiment strip and added that to complete the design.

I also used the awesome new Nugget Label, Window & Frame Die-namics to create a snowman themed treat in both a winter design and a Valentine's design. I love our shaker pouches and dies and this newest one is SO FUN! I can't wait to make a million treats with it throughout the year.

Stay tuned to the MFT YouTube channel on Monday... I'll be sharing a video sharing how I created these fun tags!

Thanks so much for joining me for Day 5 of the January release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!
