My Favorite Things March Release Countdown | Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the My Favorite Things March 2017 release countdown. For the next five days we're counting down to the release of the newest products from MFT! I'm so excited to share all of the new products with you! ;)

For today's project I created three baby gift tags using the new Bundle of Baby Clothes Die-namics, Welcome Baby Stamp set and Baby Rattle Die-namics.


I used the large tag die from the Blueprints 9 Die-namics to create the foundations for the tags and then I decorated each of them using various products from the new release.



I created a generic shaker tag using the Baby Rattle Die-namics and the 2" shaker pouches and I added a sentiment from the Welcome Baby stamp set. For the second two tags I used the Bundle of Baby Clothes Die-namics and created a boy and a girl themed tag.


These tags are a part of the March release free classes that we share each month, so make sure to check it out tomorrow night for a downloadable PDF and a video sharing how I created my tags.

My Favorite Things March Release Countdown | Day 3

Hello and welcome to day 3 of the My Favorite Things March 2017 release countdown. For the next five days we're counting down to the release of the newest products from MFT! I'm so excited to share all of the new products with you! ;)

For my card today I used the new Stitched Interactive Windows Trio along with the new Critter Clan stamp set (and coordinating dies) to create a fun interactive card.


I first stamped the tree branch from the I'm Tweet on You stamp set onto two different white cardstock panels, one cut slightly smaller than the other. I stamped them in the same spot on each panel so they would line up perfectly when I layered them on top of one another.

I coloured them both in with Copic markers and then I used the new Stitched Interactive Windows Trio die to diecut windows down the left side of the largest panel, right through my stamping and colouring.


I stamped, coloured and diecut three of the owls from the new Critter Clan stamp set and then I adhered one of them to the panel and the other two under the windows. I also added some blue ink to the background to look like sky.


I stamped a sentiment from the Kind Words stamp set and finished the card with some clear sequins. Make sure to tune into tomorrows episode of MFTv to see how I created this card!! ;)

My Favorite Things March Release Countdown | Day 4

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things March 2017 release countdown. For the next five days we're counting down to the release of the newest products from MFT! I'm so excited to share all of the new products with you! ;)

For today's card I used the new Sushi Date stamp set to create a fun card for all the sushi lovers out there! I personally love sushi and would eat it every day if I could, so I was so excited to create with this set!! ;)


I stamped out all of the images onto white cardstock and then I coloured them in with Copic markers. Rather than using the coordinating dies, I decided to cut out the images with scissors so I wouldn't have the borders around them.

I created an inky brick background using the Small English Brick stencil and grey ink and then I diecut it with the Stitched Wonky Circle STAX Die-namics. I adhered it to a Grout Gray card base with strips of black and white patterned paper from the new Black & White Basics paper pad - the BEST paper pad ever! I LOVE it!! ;)


I added some clear sequins around the sushi images and I finished the card by stamping the sentiment with black ink in the top area of the circle.

My Favorite Things March Release Countdown | Day 5

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the My Favorite Things March 2017 release countdown. For the next five days we're counting down to the release of the newest products from MFT! I'm so excited to share all of the new products with you! ;)

For today's card I used the new Sow Much Cuteness stamp set along with some older dies to create a bright and colourful diecut inlay scene.


I created a diecut inlay scene by running a single panel of cardstock through my diecutting machine multiple times with various dies and then I inked each individual piece and glued them all back together on my card base.

Before adding them to the card, I spritzed each one with water and dabbed it off with a paper towel to give them a distressed look. Once I had them all adhered back on, I stamped, coloured and diecut the two pigs and the butterfly from the Sow Much Cuteness stamp set.


I added the images to the card and then I stamped my sentiment (from the same stamp set), onto the cloud area of the card since there was so much open white space.
