MFT March Release | New Product Launch

Hello and welcome to the March Release New Product Launch! All of the new products we've been sharing for the past five days are available NOW at My Favorite Things!

For my card today I used the new Easter Bunnies stamp set to create a sweet bunny themed card that can be used for Easter or just to say hello.
I stamped and coloured my bunny image with Copic markers and then I diecut it with the coordinating die. I then die cut the Rainy Circle from the center of my panel and inked the rain portion with Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks.

I finished my card by adding this month's Free with $60 (Tree Branch) on top of the rain circle with foam adhesive for some added dimension and I stamped the Hello sentiment on the main panel with black ink.

Thanks so much for joining me for March release launch! Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

MFT March Release Countdown | Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on March 12th at 10am EDT.

For my project today I created a felt stuffie with the new Cottontail Cutie Die-namics. I love these cute critters and love working with felt so I was excited to bring them to life in felt form.

I used the Arch STAX dies to create their bodies since the bodies that come with them are a little too small to put stuffing in. Stay tuned tomorrow for a video on the MFT YouTube channel sharing how I create these cute little characters.

Thanks so much for joining me for Day 2 of the March release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

MFT March Release Countdown | Day 3

Hello and welcome to day 3 of the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on March 12th at 10am EDT.

For my card today I used the new A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics and the coordinating A2 Rectangle Shaker Pouches to create a full card shaker with a die cut sentiment on top.
I ink blended the background with Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Worn Lipstick and then I die cut the frame from the entire panel. I added a bunch of sequins inside and then I adhered the frame and pouch over top. I finished the card with the die cut Birthday Wishes sentiment.

MFT March Release Countdown | Day 4

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on Mar h 12 at 10am EDT.

For my card today I used the new Just Ducky stamp set along with the Mini Staggered Raindrops stencil and created a colourful, rain-filled sky.

I added ink through the stencil onto a white card stock panel and used rainbow colours to make it colourful. I liked the look of the raindrops upside down, so I did them that way on the card and left a white space at the bottom right of the panel.

I added a blue die cut piece to the panel (from the Birdbath Die-namics) for a water puddle, and then I added my stamped ducky on top. How cute is he?!

Thanks so much for joining me for Day 4 of the March release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

MFT March Release Countdown - Day 5

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on March 12th at 10am EDT.

For my cards today, I used the new Interactive Swing Die-namics along a bunch of other new products, to create 3 interactive swinging cards.

For my first card, I combined the swing elements with the new Easter Bunnies stamp set (stay tuned for that one tomorrow!) and created an Easter design where the bunny actually swings on the card. I love this new die set because there are so many ways you can use it to create interactive cards.
The second card features the newest Pure Innocence stamp set, and this one works great because she is actually on a swing in the stamped image.
And last but not least, I used the new Sweet Friends with the Swing and used the treetop die from the Interactive Swing set, to create a cloud. :)
If you want to see the Interactive Swing die in action, you can see how I created all 3 of these cards in today's video HERE on YouTube.

Thanks so much for joining me for Day 5 of the March release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

MFT February Release | New Product Launch

Hello and welcome to the February Release New Product Launch! All of the new products we've been sharing for the past five days are available NOW at My Favorite Things!

For my card today I used the new Turntable Die-namics along with the For the Record stamp set to create a colourful, interactive card.

I die cut the pieces for the record from white card stock, including a label for the center that I created by trimming the record down with a smaller circle die.  I used Distress inks on the record label to add colour to it, and I used Copic markers to add colour to the record.

I die cut the turntable player from Silver Sparkle card stock and the layered it onto the base with a brad so it can be moved on the record. I also attached the record with a brad so it can spin on the card.

I added the pink sentiment strip with foam adhesive on each end so it wouldn't sit directly on the record and then I finished the card with some clear sequins with Silver Stickles in the centers.

MFT February Release Countdown | Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Favorite Things February Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on February 5th at 10am EST.

For my card today I used the new Party Penguins stamp set along with the, new Birth-Yay stamp set to create a colorful birthday card.

I stamped the stacked of animals onto a white card stock panel with Extreme Black ink, and then I coloured it in with Copic markers. Once I had it coloured, I die cut a piece of masking paper with the coordinating die and put it on the stamped image to protect it so I could add some blue ink to the background.

I love doing masking with the coordinating die because it leaves a white border around the image before the inking starts.

I stamped a sentiment from the new Party Penguins stamp set onto black card stock, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder, and then I adhered it to the card in separate strips. I finished the card with some clear gems and some white pen detail on the stamped images.

Thanks so much for joining me for Day 1 of the February release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

See you tomorrow for the release!
