3 More Days Until the MFT September Release!

Hello, and welcome! We have 3 more days until the MFT September release is available and we have more great products to share! For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on September 3 at 10am EDT.

For my card today, I used the new Floral Focus stamp set and created a card with colours that I don't generally use, but ended up loving on this design. :)

I stamped the floral design onto a panel of white card stock with Extreme Black ink and coloured it in with purples, a touch of aqua and a really pretty green shade. I used a few markers in each colour to add shading and detail, and then I die cut the finished panel with a stitched rectangle die.

I added the panel to a piece of Summer Splash card stock, added it to a Grout Gray card base and then I added a stamped sentiment strip with foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for joining me today. Make sure to head over to the MFT Blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

4 More Days Until the MFT September Release is Here!

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things September Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on September 3 at 10am EDT.

For my card today, I used the new Mini Cafe All Day Die-namics and the Cup of Love Stamp Set to create a clean and simple design perfect for giving to a friend. :)

I die cut two of the coffee cups from white card stock and coloured them both in with Copic markers. I die cut a scalloped edge on the main panel and adhered it to the card base with a strip of the rainbow-striped patterned paper from the Over the Rainbow paper pad.

I finished the card by stamping the sentiment in black ink under the cups, stamped some steam above them with grey ink and added a die cut heart on foam adhesive, layered over both of the cups.

Thanks so much for joining me for Day 4 of the September release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT Blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

It's Time for the MFT September Release Countdown!

Hello and welcome to the first day of the My Favorite Things September Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on September 3 at 10am EDT.

For my card today I used the Sweater Weather on Safari and Sweater Weather in the Woods stamp sets to create a clean and simple card that really lets the adorable critters from these sets shine!

I paired the giraffe and the beaver together on my design - how cute are they together?! I stamped them directly on a white Neenah card stock panel with Extreme Black ink and then I coloured them in with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment on Tangy Orange card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and then I die cut it with the Skinny Strips die-namics. I also die cut some small hearts from the same orange card stock and adhered them with the characters.

I adhered the panel the a Desert Storm card base and completed the card by adding shading underneath the beaver and giraffe to ground them and bring the whole scene together.

Thanks so much for joining me for Day 5 of the September release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them.

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

Introducing the MFT Vault

We’re opening up the MFT Vault, and we can’t wait to reveal what’s inside. With 13 years of experience under our belts, we’re thrilled to rediscover some classic MFT designs, and share them with you all over again!

We might unearth an old favorite with a new twist, or possibly a brand-new-to-you design you missed out on in the past. We’re confident that this month’s vault contains something you’ll love...are you ready to see what treasure awaits?

For my card today, I created a colourful rainbow card featuring the Artist Palette & Brush Die-namics. I loved this die set when it was originally available so I was pretty excited to see it come out of the Vault!

I coloured the palette paint with Copic markers and added the palette to a white card stock panel. For the sentiment I used a mix of die cut letters and a partially stamped sentiment.

Make sure to head over to the MFT Blog to see the other products that were released from the Vault today! I can't wait to hear what you're most excited about. :)
