My Favorite Things March | New Product Launch

Hello and welcome to the new product launch for the My Favorite Things March 2017 release! All of the awesome products that we've been sharing this week are officially available in the MFT online store now!

For my card today, I'm featuring the new Slider Channel Companion Window Die-namics that works with the Slider Channel Builder die set to create fun interactive cards. I paired the slider dies with the new Chinese Takeout Box and Good Fortune stamp set to create a card with a hidden message.

I created the window portion in a panel of Grout Gray cardstock that I had diecut with a stitched rectangle die and then I layered it over a second piece of the same colour cardstock. I diecut two of the slider channel pieces from white cardstock and layered them under the window panel so the slider strip could slide in and out.

I stamped a sentiment on the right side of the slider strip that would be visible when it's closed and then I stamped a second sentiment underneath the panel on the left side that would show once the slider strip was pulled out.

I added the Chinese Takeout box and a fortune cookie onto the left side of the slider strip with foam adhesive which allows it to slide out with the panel to reveal the sentiment underneath and it also stops the slider strip from pulling completely out.

I also diecut a set of chopsticks and added some brown ink to them and adhered them onto the takeout box before I adhered it to the card. I finished the card with some clear sequins and a little strip of paper peeking out of the fortune cookie.

Make sure to head over the the MFT Stamps blog for more ideas using the new release and giveaways!!
